“I always have a blast performing at the Singer Songwriter Sessions! I love the welcoming atmosphere of The Bitter End and I am so lucky that Larry gave me the chance to play there.”
Yaniza Doré is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Manhattan, who hummed along to music before she could speak. She always loved singing, but it became her passion when she stumbled upon her first voice lessons and guitar lessons at age 16.
When she’s not eating chicken, Yaniza is working on new original music. She found her songwriting niche in soft acoustic music influenced in part by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. She released her first EP, “Feel This Way,” on iTunes in the summer of 2013 with four original songs. Besides performing at The Bitter End, Yaniza has shared her songs with viewers at Pianos NYC and various locations on her college campus upstate. She has booked other NYC venues for when she returns from her last semester of college.
Yaniza hopes to bring unique music to her audience. She wants to encourage other aspiring singers that they don’t necessarily need a loud voice in order to be heard.
