“The Singer/Songwriter sessions was a fantastic opportunity to showcase my original music in front of others at an incredibly iconic and legendary venue like the Bitter End.”
“There is no venue like The Bitter End. A history of music has played out on
the stage in front of the brick wall. And the Singer/Songwriter Sessions are a
central part of that history. The Singer/Songwriter Sessions give an emerging artist
like me an incredible place to perform in front of great crowds who want to hear
original acoustic and piano sets. Playing live in the Singer/Songwriter Sessions
has helped me understand how to better connect to an audience through my music.
It is a necessary step to becoming a more accomplished singer and songwriter.”
Kacey is a Vocal Major at LaGuardia High School, NYC’s “Fame” school, and is

ranging from outdoor stadiums and music festivals, cafés and bars, and student
halls and auditoriums.
In 2011, organizers of the New York State Special Olympics asked Kacey to
participate in the Games’ opening ceremonies, where she performed before
thousands in attendance her original theme song “You Can Make It” written in
celebration of the incredible athletes and their families and coaches. Kacey has
performed live on television as well as at numerous benefit concerts and non-
profit events, in particular recent shows to provide assistance for families impacted
by Superstorm Sandy. She is honored to be invited to showcase her original
works at the world-renowned The Bitter End in Manhattan, and to be selected for
participation in the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music 2013 Summer High
School Program at NYU Tisch.
Kacey has produced and recorded more than twenty of her own songs to date,
written and co-written dozens of songs, and has been fortunate to collaborate and
perform frequently with many talented songwriters and musicians. Videos of some
of her earlier works have garnered an impressive following on YouTube. As an
artist, Kacey remains focused on writing and recording music that connects to a
wide range of audiences in her live performances.
