Growing up just north of NYC, Allison Leah has had first-hand experience in the music industry from a young age. She started writing original music at age 5, and was eager to share it with anyone and everyone who would listen. By the time she was 8-years-old, Allison began working as a jingle singer – recording commercials such as the Hess Truck Commercial, singing on GE’s Healthy Imagination’s “Say Ahh”, and doing radio tags for Z-100, WCBS-FM, and others.
In 2015, Allison shifted her focus toward writing music and performing ‘whenever and wherever’ she can. Allison has performed everywhere from New York City, to London, to Florence, Italy. She even played her first single, “A Love Song”, live on Lightning 100 (Nashville’s Independent Radio Station), when she was featured as their “new artist of the week”. She became involved with the Singer Songwriter sessions in July of 2017 and thanks Larry for his support of her music! It’s always inspiring for her to play the Bitter End.
Allison Leah’s debut EP, Fly Home, was released on June 7, 2018. This collection of songs features her stories of love, loss, coming of age, curiosity, and growth.
On her EP, Paula Cummings of NYS Music wrote, “Fly Home is a harbinger of remarkable things to come from this promising young artist with a voice as sweet as honey and a heart of gold.” (2018).
Allison Leah’s music is available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, and other streaming services.
