“The Singer/Songwriter sessions was a fantastic opportunity to showcase my original music in front of others at an incredibly iconic and legendary venue like the Bitter End.”
Cristina Ferucci began writing songs and music at the age of 12. Now at 15 years old she has written over 20 original songs. While she has written across many genres, her latest works have been said to be an alternative folk with a jazz/pop twist. Cristina uses her music to speak to the world and says there is no better way than through a song. She is also very active in a student movement to abolish modern day slavery and human trafficking through the awareness campaign “Project Stay Gold” (www.projectstaygold.org). So inspired by the victims of this terrible crime, Cristina wrote the theme song called, “Hold On” that she performs at all the Project Stay Gold presentations which earned her the Transoptions Student of the Month award on WSUS 102.3 radio in February 2012.
